Odebrecht Agroindustrial, the sugar-energy arm of the Odebrecht Organization, reports on its performance annually.  The last report, for the 2011-2012 crop, was published in November 2012 in printed form, in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and in digital form, available for download at www.odebrechtagroindustrial.com.

This year, a summary of Odebrecht Agroindustrial’s Annual Report is available in printed form (and as a PDF document on this website), and the complete report is available on-line. The information provided in this document relates to our operations and results achieved in the 2012-2013 crop year – from April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2013 – and includes prospects for the 2013-2014 crop year, as well as economic, social and environmental details. The report complies with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), version G-3, level A.

The topics covered in the report are those considered to be of the greatest interest to the Company’s various stakeholders, to whom this report is addressed – members, shareholders, clients, suppliers, communities, the government and the public – and were chosen on the basis of a survey carried out in 2011. All areas of the organization contributed to defining and supplying the information, and this has allowed us to attain Application Level A of the GRI guidelines. The indicators apply to the nine agroindustrial units located in Brazil.

The consolidated financial statements are presented in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and have been audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditores Independentes. Information on labor matters conforms to the current labor laws and the guidelines of the International Labor Organization (OIT). Similarly, international and domestic regulations were observed in providing details about the environment. Any changes in the databases, arising from new information, are explained in the document itself.
